The 15° timetable is based on the following directions:

1 - The starting time of Salaat-ul-Fajr

Abdullah bin Abbas (RA) reported, Allah’s Messenger (SW) as saying: "On the 1st day, Jibrail taking me with him, performed Salaat-ul-Fajr at the time when eating and drinking had been prohibited for those who are fasting." – Abu Dawud & Tirmizi.

This Hadith established: Fajr prayer time starts when Sehri time ends.

2 - Sehri End Time directed in Al-Qur’an-ul-Karim

"Eat and drink until the white thread is distinct to you from the black thread of dawn".  - Al-Baqarah, v187

Adi bin Hatem [RA] reported, Allah’s Messenger (SW) said, "They (black thread and white thread) are darkness of night and day light."

- Bukhari.

3 - Subh-e-Kazib & Subh-e- Sadiq

Dawn light is called ‘Fajr’. It has two parts: Subh-e-Kazib (False Dawn) and Subh-e- Sadiq (True Dawn). Allah’s Messenger (SW) named these two lights as ‘Vertical Light’ and ‘Spreading Light’ respectively.
